Russell,

In briefly looking at your web site, how is what you are offering any different than what Traffic Power offered with their "attraction / advertising pages"? From what it sounds like, you are coding a page with specific key words and linking it directly to your clients home page. The content is based on the current search algorithms the search engines use. This coding will increase the rank of your client's web site...how does this sound, am I accurate? If not, please correct me.

An explanation of the bronze package product from your web site states - "This package consists of 10 targeted “Spider Pages” designed around keywords and phrases relating to your business. Our team of experts will research and build “Spider Pages” based on initial keyword recommendations, existing web site content, competitive research and keyword research. “Spider Pages” are visible to search engines robots that crawl and index the web. All “Spider Page” search engine listings will redirect visitors to http://yourhomepage.com. The Bronze Package monthly fee includes up to 2500 clicks per month. If clicks exceed 2500 clicks for a given month a charge of $.05 per click will be charged for the overage."

The only difference being that Traffic Power was not charging for click through results. The cost was a flat rate for the development and modification of pages due to changes in search engine algorithums

Here is a link to the results from Google's forum where I used the term traffic power

http://groups-beta.google.com/group...arch+this+group

We contracted traffic power over two years ago. They created 20 different pages, based on key words that we gave them. They worked extremely well. We come to find out a year later, that what we were doing was against googles policies. We got deleted from Googles entire directory. We were nowhere to be found on the most popular search engine in the world. It took us over two months, of modifying our web site before we got back on.

FYI, traffic power claimed that it was just google reindexing, which is why we disappeared.

This is one company's experience. Visiting other forums, I come to find out that I wasn't alone. There were many companies that experienced the same thing.

To date, we are listed through Google's data base. With the pages we were generating over 3000 search results / month. Without the pages, we generate about 1500 - 2000 searches per month. Over that time, I focused on content. This is one of the primary characteristics the "bots" use to index web sites. We modified our home page to take out the hooks they used to attach their pages. We are still using some of the pages because they are still well ranked through other search engines and direct to our web site and don't violate their rules.

Google doesn't like when home pages are linked to other pages that "trick" their bots. They want an unbiased result.

What you call "spider pages", tell me how that is different from what traffic power did. If you think it is new, it may not be...and you may be playing with fire.

I'm sorry for being critical but all appearances point to the same thing and once detected by Google, could be disasterous for your clients. You may want to look into this further. When in Google's world, you must do as they require if you want to be part of their listings.

You asked for feedback.

God Bless,

That's some pretty powerful information. If you come across any other similar articles, please post them up.

That's what the post is about. Don't trust them, companies like that will prob. get your site blacklisted. Be aware!
